Day 2: of Waiting and Working
After unpacking a box to find some clothing and considering getting a head start on my lesson planning. I opted for waking up early to see the grandparents, followed by an afternoon of paid slave labour, or work as Shaun's assistant doing some manual labour type jobs like fitting on switch covers and cleaning up job site garbage. I'm going to have to start having adventures in Winnipeg, it sounds like we may be here a few weeks, if I don't start soon I may lose some followers! I will be updating pictures shortly.

Day 1 of waiting: Waiting...and relaxing...
After speaking with "Jen" the Air Canada rep, sifting through about 20 emails from fellow Thailand 'soon to be' adventurers and trying to figure out if I should personally claim travel insurance, or just let it be, I am further confused and have now seemingly spent 1 hour of my first day off waiting around for news of what I should do. So thus, I wait and wonder and am now too lazy to get my chin waxed so will proceed to have a shower and try to uncover some clothes from the bottom of the stack of boxes.
Waiting pays off, Cathy from Travel Cuts has figured everything out and since the level of 'do not go to Thailand' was not government sanctioned the insurance wouldn't kick in. It all figures itself out.
Well, thank you to all my avid followers, here's hoping the wait won't be too long!

Postponed?
It's always great to hear, on the day of departure to far away lands and endeavors that plans have changed due to heightened 'Travel Advisory'. Only then to find out we must personally cancel our flights...after waiting on the phone for numerous minutes/hours it is nice to realize all fellow travel companions are experiencing the same frustrations.
Luckily there are many great things about being delayed:
1. I now have officially began my Adventure Blog
2. I have now got to have a relaxing evening (minus the flight cancelling ordeal) with friends.
3. I now don't have to wake up at 4:30 to depart early tomorrow am.
4. I can now get my chin waxed tomorrow (Hopefully my boyfriend Shaun will allow me to use the truck to go to a chin waxing appointment).
5. Shaun gives a thumbs up to truck borrowing.
6. Another great thing is that I can now help Brina through the steps of taking Buckley's chased by a nice glass of H2O, quite a feat to not gag.
7. Lindsay, fellow Thailand Adventurerrrr can now recover from the 'plague' which I think I may have shared with her last week--contracted from my Kindergarten Kids.
8. I get to sleep in tomorrow.
9. I get to figure out exactly who would like to follow my blog..have I enticed you yet!?
10. I get to wait on hold with Air Canada--only 9 minutes so far!
I'll keep you posted...
